The Crew

28 different crew joined me on my adventure, all were volunteers.  Friends, family, sailors from Crewseekers and others I  met during my travels have all helped make this cruise possible.  Their experience ranged from those completely new to sailing, to those with RYA Comp. Crew to Ocean Yacht Master.

2008:  My thanks to family and friends who have joined me as crew during the first year of my cruise, helping me to achieve my goal to reach Oban on the West Coast of Scotland.

Photos of those that joined me are shown on this page. Without their support I could not have completed my first year passage.

2009:

Crew availability limited my progress at times last year. A good start to my second year, with several experienced crew volunteering to join me from CrewSeekers throughout the year. Together with friends and family, this should help me continue passage to complete my challege. The passage rounding Cape Wrath to the Orkney Islands and back across the Pentland Firth to Wick needed experienced sailors to join me. Crew are still needed for later passages, please contact me if you can help.
